It’s still not warm enough to shoot outside here in Colorado, so I’ve been taking as many opportunities as possible shooting in the studio. Some of my favorites have been made in the hallways, which have wonderful natural light. The fun is using the light to define the figure in an interesting way.
One of the things I talk about in my nude photography workshops is exactly that. Whether you are indoors or out, using back side light can create depth and separate the figure from the surroundings.
We shot a lot of variations on this, and also shot in a space right next to one of the windows. I’ll be sharing that image soon.
